Paccheri (pronounced [?pakkeri]) is a type of pasta in the shape of a very large tube, originating from Campania. They are generally smooth, but there is also a ribbed version, paccheri millerighe. The name comes from Neapolitan paccharia, "slaps" with a depreciative -ero to indicate something common.The name has been ascribed to a slapping sound they may make when eaten. They can be served stuffed or not. Other names used to indicate the “Striped paccheri" pasta shape: Tuffoli.
Arcobaleno is an U.S. reseller that rebrands pasta machines made by other companies;
for example the ravioli machine Arcobaleno ARS160 is nothing else than the ravioli machine Capitani RS160. In the same way, the Arcobaleno extruder AEX90M is just the Sandoré MX60 extruder, and so on. Send an email to info@ostoni.com with the photo of your pasta machine; we'll tell you immediately who is the real manufacturer of the pasta machine you own !
